The Hostel @ Sigma Pi
We are very excited to announce that we will be opening the house again next summer.
Our house looks better than ever, from the dining room to the Beach, and it’s available for rent to Sigma Pi groups.
We have 24 air-conditioned bedrooms and up to 38 beds available in single, double, and family configurations.
Linens, towels, and daily cleaning provided.
The Hostel @ Sigma Pi is a joint effort between ΣΠ alumni, undergraduates, and the Sigma Pi Educational Foundation.
The facilities will be staffed through the summer by two undergraduates and two alumni, working with our existing service providers to ensure a professional service level.
Access is available to our commercial kitchen and pantry for your cook or for catering service for special events.
For planning purposes, the summer will consist of three components: graduation (May 24–26), Reunion (June 6–9), and the rest of the summer (June 12–August 8) for Airbnb, Hostel, and events.
Seniors are being given the option to stay at the house with family members for graduation weekend. The charge for graduation weekend for a single room is $700 and $900 for a double room. If you are interested, please reach out to our resident advisor, Zion Sherin, at zns3@cornell.edu.
For Reunion in June, the house is reserved for young alumni classes, 2014–2024, who receive priority booking and a 25% discount if registered by January 1, 2024. Rooms will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. Single rooms are $100 per night, with a two-night minimum. Doubles, also with a two-night minimum, are $500 for the weekend. If interested, please reach out to Zion at zns3@cornell.edu by January 1 to receive the discount. Thereafter, we will be taking reservations on a rolling basis until fully booked.
We will offer the The Hostel @ Sigma Pi via Airbnb from June 12 through August 8. If you are visiting Ithaca over the summer, it’s a great way to enjoy Cornell in an affordable and fun way. For the summer, rates will vary based on the day and time and will be booked through Airbnb, but if you reach out to zns3@cornell.edu, we will set up a 30% brotherhood discount for your stay.
