Please Support the Brothers of the Mu Chapter of Sigma Pi

“The opportunity to be a member of Mu Chapter of Sigma Pi is a gift from those who came before you.
Add to the gift, and pass it on to those who come after you.” — Jim Keene ’57

Heritage Fund Annual Giving

Your participation in supporting the Sigma Pi Heritage Annual Fund will help ensure the ongoing legacy of Sigma Pi. Your annual financial support of Sigma Pi Fraternity is entirely voluntary, but critical! It supports critical programs such as alumni communications as well as supporting the undergraduate brotherhood in all aspects of their life at 730 University Avenue.

The Mu Chapter of Sigma Pi Educational Foundation

The Sigma Pi Mu Chapter Educational Foundation, founded in 2007, is a 501(c)(3) Internal Revenue Service-approved organization and is dedicated to funding educational programs for the members of Mu Chapter, enhancing the learning infrastructure of the house, and supporting education related programming that benefits the youth of the greater Ithaca community and provides mentorship opportunities for Mu Chapter brothers.

Dining and Learning Campaign

In 2015, the Alumni Board formed a Kitchen and Dining (K&D) committee to conduct a comprehensive analysis of the existing kitchen and dining facilities of the fraternity. The committee proposed a plan to the Board designed to create a physical establishment with dining services that will make the house attractive to today’s Cornell undergraduates, as well as to expand, through the creation of an educational commons, the dedicated study and collaborative work space the undergraduates value. The board believes it is critical to make a significant investment in modernizing and upgrading our kitchen and dining facilities to best meet the needs of the current brotherhood and to help us attract the highest caliber of undergraduates to Sigma Pi.

Memorial Plaques

Honor a deceased brother through a $5,300 gift to Mu Chapter in their memory. Most of the plaques have been funded by groups of alumni. The two most recent plaques were erected to the memory of Dave LeFeve and Alexander Holiat. Both were funded by solicitation to a large group of brothers who responded with varying donations that totaled the required $5,300 ($5,000 gift and $300 for the plaque). In each case, a brother stepped forward to lead the drive to raise the money.

Make your gift today. For more information, please contact Aaron Klein ’12 (716-425-9252), President of Mu Chapter Sigma Pi Educational Foundation.
