Leadership & Training

Sigma Pi brothers excel in leadership positions all over campus, with numerous involvements in prominent organizations. Brother Griffin Py ’18 has kept the Student Agency tradition alive as the chief financial officer of Cornell’s oldest student-run business. Brother Drew Lord ’18 serves as the president on Cornell’s Interfraternity Council. Brother Onur Saglam ’19 serves as the treasurer for the Cornell Film Club. Brother Matthew Blakley ’18 served as the president of Cornell’s club hockey team and now serves as the team’s vice president. College Mentors for Kids continues to be a huge success on campus, with several brothers holding positions on the executive board and many others brothers having roles as general managers and mentors.

In addition, brothers are given the opportunity to attend national leadership conferences, such as Sigma Pi International’s Annual Leadership Conference, the Northeast Greek Leadership Association Conference, and the AD White Annual Summit for Greeks. Expenses associate with attending these conferences is defrayed by support from the Mu Chapter of Sigma Pi Educational Foundation.

There are also a number of scholarship opportunities available.
